So, what is assisted living?
Firstly, our main aim as a care at home provider is to ensure our clients can stay in the comfort and familiarity of their own home with no major upheavals and a smooth transition into being cared for. The Orihuela Costa, Costa Calida and Torrevieja areas all have health care centres and hospitals however the after care, dementia care and elderly care for European expats is difficult to sign up for depending on each person’s personal circumstances. There is also the issue of the language barrier. The care homes here in the Orihuela Costa area are very expensive and again there is the language barrier, no segregation and different foods which can be very distressing for all involved.
Many of our clients just need some help a couple of hours a day with shopping, making meals, cleaning and some personal care, however we also look after clients whom have been in hospital and need after care. This could be daily, live-in or waking nights. Any care needed can be covered by our team. Click here to see the list of some of our services. Each individual client will always have their own personal care plan.
Trust is a huge thing for us when carrying out the initial assessment as family, friends and partners of our clients are totally informed of the whole process. We have a very smart app called CareLine Live which enables loved one’s to follow the care plan from anywhere.
It’s always a worry when people’s family or friends get to the stage in life where they need help at home, but we know that our team are highly experienced and reassuring. The most important point is that our clients can stay at home and be cared for professionally.
Our team is made up of head nurses, carers, dementia specialist carers and quality home helpers. Many of our team have been in senior health care positions in the UK before arriving in Spain and are just passionate about what they do.
Please do not hesitate to ask us any questions regarding care at home we are available 24/7.
